All in All a great launch day
September 12, 2007 – 6:49 pm by Jared StenquistWe spent all day and night Monday making sure the site would be ready in case the Collegian ran the article about CampusLIVE that we were expecting. I threw in the towel at 4:30am - guessing that we wouldn’t be in the paper until Thursday or Friday. Of course, I was dead wrong - Boris called me woke me up at 9am to give the good news. The flood of phonecalls and texts followed, everyone wondering if i knew about the article.
We raced into the office and made all the last minute changes and were completely moved over from the development servers around 1:30pm. By 8pm we had 7,000 students visit and 275 registered users, an unbelievable day. I was really happy to see people register and start adding favorite new sources, searches, etc… It made the ridiculously long days (and nights) at the office all worth it. Of course the long days and nights are to continue - we’ll be rolling out new features indefinitely.

Long days and nights…I feel your pain.
And yes, 14 hours is just enough to feel like you are getting something done.
Looks good, best of luck guys.
