We have been recieving a large number of concerns that restaurant hours of operation do not correctly display summer hours. In response our development team has built a system for restaurants to customize their own page. That includes customizing hours of operation. We are currently marketing this new feature to all of the restuarants on our site.
If you call a restuarant and it is closed, send us an email (feedback@campuslive.com) or talk to us on live support and we will fix it immediately.
Everyone loves a homeboy, and we at CL will never forget our hometown. With that said we are launching CL local 1.0 ( beta ) in the Amherst, MA area.
Long name, short meaning. If you visit our Amherst-based CL Campuses you will see our new local community listings. If you guys like it or hate it drop us a line at feedback@campuslive.com (feedback from students at any campus welcome).
When all the kinks are smoothed other campuses can look for their own local listings. The more feedback we get, the faster we can add this module to all campuses!
Cheers,
Sasha!
At CampusLIVE we’ve been dying to give an office tour. There are so many attractions and rides to share with our viewers. Unfortunately, we don’t sell candy bars and we don’t have golden tickets. This was our solution - Enjoy!

First we claimed this building, next the world!
Interns respecting the “indoor sunglass” policy.

CampusLIVE is a green company…green tip of the day: broken computers are perfect for growing a tree!

What my white board looks like after a 14 hour day, “that’s English right?”

Some of the CampusLIVE girlfriends love to decorate.

Top 20 worst dart shots!

Someone’s graveyard is CampusLIVE’s backyard.

The executive suite. In the 80’s computers were as big as this room, now we fit 3!

Today the crew and I here at CampusLIVE spread the brotherly love by launching our newest campus at Temple University!
I, myself, am an Alum from TU and proud to say that the Owl’s from North Broad St. are finally being rep’ed online in all their glory.
Temple, the deal is this- CampusLIVE is dedicated to bringing students’ on and off CampusLIVE’s together. Built by college students for college students, we bring all the tools and information you could ever want together in one convenient and easy to use online destination. Make it your homepage!
We’ve got the food menus, facebook notifications, school links & email, tv listings, local weather and news, tons of search engines and more. It’s all there, it’s all easy to use and navigate, and it all makes your life much more convenient.
Illadelph, the deal is this- We’re coming to all of your schools, the big and the small. If you want to help us launch your school’s own homepage give us feedback here and well make it happen!
Until I’m back…
Stay up and stay strong,
Sasha -
We knew the light brown had to go sooner or later. We came up with a shiny new splash page that is much more interactive and easy to use. Thanks to everyone for your feedback about this, we used everyones suggestions. Link below…
The crew at CL kicked off our “Campus Crawl” tour with a sweet trip to UConn. Thank you UConn for accepting us with open arms and showing us such a great time. The campus and the community are a wonderful place and we hope that CL can provide everyone there with a beneficial service that was so desperately needed!
Having recently launched CampusLIVE at UVM we decided to make that our next stop! Get ready boys and girls out there in Burlington, we’re bring the whole crew. We plan on being there April 25th to keep the Spring season pumpin’ and celebrate the end of the semester! Look for more information around campus and on our site about sweet events that we are planning . Can’t wait to see you there!
Enjoy the weather-
Sasha
Here at CampusLIVE our innovative and creative marketing team is trying something new to round up new users and please our already existing faithfuls. Drum roll please…CampusLIVE@UMass will be sponsoring an over-the-top, all-out crazy promotional fiesta. It will be at one of UMass’ favorite hot-spots, The Pub on March 28. Get ready for a truly unforgettable night. We will be giving away free CampusLIVE goodies including t-shirts, koozies, coasters, and lighters. It doesn’t stop there; we will be serving our very own, specially created CampusLIVE shooters that will absolutely knock you back. The lovely ladies of CampusLIVE will be strutting their stuff and serving you your drinks. Buy a shot, keep the shot glass. What a deal. If music, booze, freebies, hot girls (and of course, guys) sounds like a winning combination and you are 21+ (sorry underage users) then you should head on down to The Pub on Friday, March 28.
We’ve just launched some cool features behind the scenes that you may or may not have noticed (depending on what restaurant pages you frequent). We developed a control panel for restaurants so that they can ensure their listing is always up to date. As we now have over 300 restaurants in our system it’s going to be much better to put the power in the hands of the restaurants.
New Updates to the site include:
So far we’ve had great feedback from these changes. Definitely let us know what you think!
Responding to an immense amount of feedback related to the old Campus Links menu, CampusLIVE has developed an all new menu we’ve deemed ‘QuickLinks’ (we are a creative bunch). The Quick Links menu contains a variety of categories which display links to the popular websites within. Example: within the Gossip category some of the links displayed are to PerezHilton, USWeekly, DListed and more. An interested (read: bored) student can browse through the categories that interests them most and enjoy the internet without Google.
In a few weeks you will be able to choose your favorite sites and toss them into your CampusLIVE bookmarks. That way no matter where you are - dorm, library or home for the holidays - you’ll have all your links with you.
CampusLIVE’s #1 mission is to serve our users in every capacity available to us, and the best way we can do that is through responding to feedback. We feel the new Quick Links has strengthened CampusLIVE usability and we look forward to hearing the feedback from our users.
